Seasons in the Sun
The weather of 2011 has been crazy. For one of my projects this semester, I'm making a video of the weather of 2011 so I've been a little more diligent in taking some landscape pictures.

When Fall Comes to New England
Fall in New England is beautiful and it seems like the month of October is very busy with outdoor activities. Columbus Day Weekend is always a favorite of ours. Our town hosts a number of events.

Who I was Born to Be
It's no secret that I love photography and it seems that Joey shares that passion with me. We go out together often and take pictures. He uses our old digital camera. In fact, it is his camera, now. However, the last time we went out the batteries in his camera died and he commandeered my camera. Here are some pictures he took.

Here are a few I took that day:

Smile
Do you buy school pictures of your kids? I'm horrible at passing out pictures so this year (and last) I just bought the digital copies.

I love the fact that they actually take the pictures outside and it's not just a vinyl backdrop. It's just an added perk to living in New England. The scenery is beautiful and at the time of the year they take the pictures, it's not 99 degrees.
Anyway, here are some test shots I took of the kids before they left for school.

I'm not sure why all of a sudden Joey looks surprised in his pictures and I for the life of me couldn't get Clarissa to take those sunglasses off her beautiful face! Which, I believe I had a very similar pair when I was about in third grade. Does this mean those glasses are retro?
