Hey, hey with the monkeys

I have some disturbing news for you. I am sorry to announce that I have become New Englanized. I am sorry and apologize to my family and friends from Texas. Please don't report me to Big Brother (and you know what I mean). I know this post sounds fishy. I still love Texas and if we had a flag pole in our front yard would proudly wave the Texas flag nice and high. It's just that I ENJOY the weather here and cannot imagine that at one point in my life loved the 90-100 degree weather. The past few days have been horribly hot. Awfully hot. Just plain hot. The high one day was 88 and the next 90 or in the area. The humidity is intolerable. However, today the high was just 70 and cool. It was drizzly and I actually enjoyed wearing jeans in summer. Did you hear me? I enjoyed it! Anyway, I let the kids play outside and I just couldn't resist taking pictures of them in their raincoats. FYI: It was not raining. It was just cool outside and the kids looked adorable in the jackets.
