Joey has been taking piano lessons for a couple or so months, now, and still really enjoys it. He hasn't really "learned" anything on the piano except how to keep the rhythm and beat. Before we enrolled him into lessons I bought a video teaching beginners how to play the piano to see if he would even be interested. It's absolutely the most boring video, but he seemed to enjoy it. He is very much like Keith in that matter. Joey really enjoys learning. Clarissa enjoys playing and having fun while Joey likes dissecting everything and understanding how things work. His piano teacher actually took apart some of his piano to show Joey the logistics of everything and Joey was enthralled. Anyway, back to my original point . . . I bought this video. A few days ago Keith decided to play it. He hadn't seen it, yet, and after less than a week of him watching it ONCE he is able to play a couple of songs. It's really not fair. Granted, I haven't tried or even attempted, but how is it Keith was able to pick it up so quickly?
