These Days

Keith, the kids, and I participated in the CF walk here this year and we had a blast. The walk was held at a zoo this year, unfortunately, the weather was crummy. Around noon a storm blew in and almost everyone left, but Joey was set on riding the train. By the time the train ride was finished the weather became a little better and it was absolutely wonderful not having a crowd.











Clarissa has been ill lately. We took her to the doctor Wednesday, Thursday, and Saturday. Each day she had a high temperature ranging from 102 to 105. She had two strep tests, a flu test, and finally we were sent to the hospital for a chest x-ray and blood work. Luckily, everything was negative.

Shortly after we left the hospital Clarissa broke her fever and is now 100% back to herself. We were worried for a minute, but that kid is resilient. She likes to keep us on our toes.

Anyway, I had to miss one of Joey's games - the game he was awarded the trophy ball! He apparently ran after every ball and tried very hard on every play!
