Wednesday was just a typical day . . . playing with the kids. Thursday was playgroup and Friday was therapy and Good Friday! Debbie bought all of us clothes to wear that were yellow. I promise I wore my yellow shirt to Good Friday Service - I'm just the one taking the picture.
Saturday at the church was Easter fun for the kids. Here's Joey doing his first ever egg-on-a-spoon race. He ended up cheating. He placed the spoon in the correct spot, but held the top of the spoon with the egg so it wouldn't fall.
They also got to hunt some Easter eggs. He had a blast and got so many eggs!
Here he is hunting some eggs!
Afterwards, Joey and his friends played outside. It was really nice just being able to run around outside. Well, Keith ran - Clarissa and I watched. Here's Keith chasing Joey and Luke.
And here's Keith and Yolanda chasing Joey, Luke, and Nicolas.
Which brings us to today . . . EASTER SUNDAY! I always remember when I was little having a big, poofy dress and I wanted Clarissa's first Easter dress to be stunning. I'm pretty sure she pulled it off as stunning! What do you think? Keith says she looks like a ballerina.
Here we all are together at church. I sure do have a beautiful family, huh?
After church we came home and guess what! The Easter Bunny left eggs at our house, too! Joey was really excited especially since the Easter Bunny put money in them this time.
Joey also learned a new song. I'm not sure of the name, but it's from the Apprentice. "Money, money, money . . . money!" Anyway, if you listen closely you can here him singing.
After hunting eggs and eating some candy we were able to go to our friends Yolanda and Arturo's . . . . hmm, notice that Yolanda is first. :) We had a delicious meal with them and their family. Joey and Nicolas were able to play (and play, and play). We really are a blessed family! I pray that each of you had as great of week as we did. We miss you all and love you all!
