You know sometimes when you've actually got a moment to sit and think you realize how blessed you are. I have a wonderful family and great friends. I have two healthy kids, a fantastic husband, and I'm able to stay home with the kids. I have a hard-working husband that loves his family very much. I could go on and on . . . God is that good to me and my family!
This week has been so nice! We've been able to go to the park three times this week! I love warm weather! Joey and Luke have been playing like crazy at the park. Clarissa is finally getting some vitamin D!
Today we had lunch with Keith at the park. Today was also Clarissa's first day on the swings. She LOVED it! I got some great pictures of her.
It's so funny just thinking how different Joey is now from a year ago. This year he does so much more on the playground. He definitely still loves the outdoors . . . and from the pictures - he still gets super red. Apparently, so does Clarissa.
On another note - I have a friend that has an autistic son and it's difficult for her to go out in public with him due to behavioral issues. Unfortunately, an older man told her son to "shut up" and told her that he could "fix his behavioral problems." SERIOUSLY! People, be nice. Obviously, the man did not understand the child was autistic, but who cares? Do not poke your nose in other's business. If you decide you need to interfere . . . offer loving assistance instead of rude comments. My friend said that she's been griped out several times in public by perfect strangers thinking her kid was just "spoiled" or "bratty." You never understand what is happening in other's lives - so don't make it your business!
