Counting the days

We're counting the days until spring. Luckily, today was such a nice day outside. However, the rest of the week we're expecting crummy weather and I know that means we'll soon be having continuous cold weather for the next 6 months. I know, I know . . . you readers (or reader - I don't know who really does read this) are probably tired of me complaining about the upcoming winter season, but I don't think you understand my dilemma! Six months is a LONG time of things for kids to do indoors. I know we can play outside building snowmen and having snow fights, but it gets too deep with snow and we can't even stand outside! Okay, enough complaining. I apologize to my reader of this blog. Who are you, anyway?

We took advantage of the weather today and played outside for a while. Today was such perfect fall weather. Long sleeves and pants were just enough to keep us warm. No jackets were required. The foliage looked amazing and the kids had a load of fun. Levi enjoyed sunbathing, too. He's such a weird dog. The last few days he's been sleeping in really late. I actually got a little concerned, but after checking him out realized he's just a lazy dog. He's probably bummed about the winter season approaching, too. Wait, he LOVES winter. How weird is this? Levi can't stand rain, but loves snow.

Anyway, here are some pictures from today.

Joey took this picture of CJ.
And here's Levi enjoying our first winter in Massachusetts. Doesn't it make you want to drink some hot chocolate?
