Settling back

We had a chaotic day today. Well, it started yesterday. Clarissa woke from her nap with a slight fever and by evening it had turned into a high temperature. Her pediatrician suggested just making sure her fever was under control and to come into the office today. We were able to get in pretty early today. Her fever broke and she seemed to be doing much better, but they wanted to make sure everything was fine since she had the high temperature the night before. They proceeded to do blood work and had to place a catheter to get some urine. It was horrible! Clarissa was just looking at me, bawling, and wondering why I was letting this happen. She kicked and screamed. Joey didn't understand why I was letting that happen to his sister. Needless to say, we decided to do Joey's flu vaccine at a later date. Luckily, the results came back negative. We're still waiting on one more test, but two out of the three have been fine and the doctor assured me that it'd be highly unlikely for the other not to be just as well. CJ seems to be doing better. Her appetite isn't fully back, but I figure she'll probably wake up STARVING tomorrow.

Here are a few pictures from the last couple of days:

This is Clarissa's hair in the morning.
Here's Joey passed out before dinner time. He decided not to take his nap earlier in the day.
Clarissa can hold her own!
