Cotton Eye Joe

It amazes me how fresh Joey can be sometimes. He is so quick at responding and clever. He definitely gets that from Keith because when I think of something witty to say it's usually after the time has come to say anything. Here are a few instances of just today that he demonstrated these skills:

1 - Keith and Joey went out together this morning and ran into a girl. Keith asked Keith if Joey thought she was pretty. Very nonchalantly Joey said a meek "sure," and as Keith passed by him he got my attention and shook his head no.

2 - At the mall this evening both Joey and Clarissa were absolute bonkers. It was like we fed them spoonfuls of sugar cubes. (We did not feed them sugar cubes) While we were looking through some magazines I was telling Joey that he didn't need to touch anything. I can't remember, now, what exactly he said but he basically said, "I am a man and can touch it." (I know . . . that kind of sounds sexist)

3 - At the mall there were a few teenagers trying to act funny (only looking and acting outrageously moronic) with bunny ears on their heads. Joey went up to one of the guys and laughed. He promptly turned around to Keith and said that the guy looked ridiculous.

On another note, this morning I painted Clarissa's toenails and fingernails for the first time ever. She LOVED it. She admired them for probably forty-five minutes and throughout the whole day.
