Irene

August turns out to be an easy month to update. The first two weeks were spent in Amarillo. When we came home we spent more time at the splash pad, lakes, our friend's pool . . . same 'ol, same 'ol. The only thing out of ordinary was Tropical Storm Irene. Luckily, we received no damage except one tree did fall.

Luckily, Keith was able to save the tree.

We did lose power for about 32 hours, but consider ourselves lucky when others lost it for a couple of days longer.
