We got snow. It wasn't bad, but it was heavy and we were without power for two days. The kids had their first two snow days of the school year. Everyone was super scared this was just a premonition of what was to come.
Because of the timing, Halloween was delayed and each town decided to have Halloween on different nights. To say the kids made a killing on candy this year is an understatement. We ended up going trick or treating several times and the kids http://www.blogger.com/img/blank.gifLOVED it. What was even better was that by the time we got to go trick or treating Target had their costumes on sale so the kids were able to have different costumes for each time they went.

I didn't realize that it was delayed. That is too funny, but how much of the candy was thrown away?
