Today Joey is NINETEEN months! Time sure does fly by so quickly! Yesterday Keith and I sat down and looked at some of Joey's old baby pictures. He sure has gotten so big! Yesterday was also Father's Day and it was a gorgeous day and allowed us to celebrate it nicely.
Saturday we bought Joey a new kiddie swimming pool and Keith set it up Sunday morning. Joey absolutely loved it! While Keith was putting it together his other little pool was still out in the yard and he just jumped right in there in his pamper. Needless to say, his pamper expanded super big. Once Keith finished his new pool he got right into it and played in it. Then, we were finally able to go inside and take a nap and then eventually go into Framingham to get some dinner and a couple more plants for the front yard. It was so nice outside that we decided to eat our dinner outside on the patio furniture. It was absolutely gorgeous . . . but there was one problem. When Joey is outside he just wants to play. He ate enough to tie him over, but wanted down from his high chair! As soon as Keith let him down he ran over into the new pool, clothes and all, and dove right into it! He had so much fun and played forever! Unfortunately, since we spent most of the day outside I noticed this morning that he's got several mosquito bites. Poor baby!
Keith is out playing golf today with church. Both he and Phil went together. I hope they have fun. I don't even know where they're going. It's some course that's an hour away from the church building. I'm sure they'll all have fun and it'll be nice getting to know some of the other men from church. Hmmm, must be nice just to take off work to go play golf!
This Wednesday the baby will be 16 weeks! CRAZY! Hopefully, that means my morning sickness will totally go away soon. I was a little over four months with Joey when I started feeling 100% better. I think I actually started getting more energy back, too. I hope it comes soon. I got in this week to get my quad screening . . . ugh, more blood! Luckily, I don't' mind needles too much and my veins always seem to cooperate.
I hope every dad had a great Father's Day yesterday!
