This week sure did creep by slowly! Keith had to go to Long Beach Monday - Wednesday . . . well, basically Thursday morning at one! To top if off, he worked a full day Thursday. Luckily, today is his day off work so he was able to sleep in this morning! Tammi stayed the night with Joey and me Tuesday and Wednesday night . . . so, no one worry!
Joey had his assessment today and did great. He's average on a few things and excelling in several others. He is a little behind on his speech, which I was pretty sure he was, anyway. So, in the next couple of weeks we'll be able to start speech therapy with him. I'm kind of looking forward to it, because he's not way behind, but this will definitely give him a head start! Joey sure did have the ladies working pretty hard to get his attention. He definitely was comfortable since we were in our own home, but he didn't want to play with their toys! He did enjoy the puzzles, but everything else was kind of dumb. Why in the world would you want to put cheerios in a bottle? He just wanted to eat them!
He did very well, though, and Keith and I are very proud of him. Well, we're always proud of him, he just showed us of more reasons today! We sure do love that little man!
I bought our plane tickets this week. For some reason the flight is not confirmed, yet, but we're planning on getting to Amarillo around one or so on Wednesday the 11th. We're getting excited to see family and friends! It'll be nice to celebrate Cindy's wedding and Papa's 90th birthday party!
As for me, morning sickness it starting to go down a bit, but I still am dealing with it. Ugh, I'm just ready to be finished with it! I thank God, though, because it just reminds me that the baby is growing well and getting the nutrients it needs. Well, I'm going to go grab my boys from the backyard. Hope everyone is doing well!
