Doctor, doctor!

This weekend was Labor Day Weekend and it was nice having Keith home for four days! It was a pretty relaxing weekend until Sunday. On Saturday night Keith had complained that his back was a little sore and on Sunday morning he had road crew up at church. When he got back Sunday morning right after he said his back was really starting to bother him, but he figured he would be fine finishing it up later after church. Only by the grace of God did we decide for me to pick him up from road crew. We had planned on going to go eat at Moe's afterwards with the Robinson's. When I picked him up from church he was sweating pretty hard and he said his back was now killing him.

On the way to Moe's we put all of the vents on Keith to try to cool him down and about half way there he said he was feeling better other than his back hurting him. So, I had told him not bother holding Joey. Luckily, I was holding Joey and once we walked inside the restaurant Keith turned to me and told me that he wasn't feeling well at all. He looked super pale and I thought he was going to get sick. I asked if he was okay and he told me, again, that he wasn't feeling well and was going to the car. I told him that was fine. I would just order our food and we'd call our friends from the car telling them that we had to leave. Well, as Keith started walking towards the door he fell and fainted! I was so scared! I always think of Keith as my big, strong man and it was so weird seeing him on the floor.

The people at Moe's ended up calling 9-1-1 and the paramedics were there in a jiffy. They checked his vitals and told him that they just weren't sure what happened. They thought he was dehydrated, but all the signs pointed elsewhere. Just then our friends walked in the restaurant . . . or rather, I noticed them standing next to me. Thank goodness they were there! They saved us! They were able to watch Joey while I took Keith to the ER. After several hours and tests, they're still not sure what caused it. They're thinking dehydration, but, again, all of the tests came back normal. Just scary!

Today, Keith is feeling much better. He's so stubborn and did not really rest that much. For the most part, though, we did have a relaxing day. We had a cookout at our friend's house, the Hadley's, and came back home and we all took a nap. I just really wish Keith would give into my wishes and take tomorrow off work!

I'll be able to call our doctor tomorrow to set up an appointment . . . so, everyone please remember to keep Keith in your prayers!
