Monday's are always kind of hectic. For the past few weeks we've been getting together with some friends of ours for breakfast. It's been really nice. I'm able to have "adult" time with my friends while Joey hangs out with his friends. It's always at someone's house, so the kids can pretty much run wild. It's really nice. Afterwards, I try to get Joey down for a nap and wake him up in time for lunch and then his visit from Dzintra. Today, though, I ended up staying a little longer than planned at Sue's and Joey didn't nap but maybe 30 minutes. I was sure that he was going to be rotten. Luckily, he was an absolute angel! He did so great and played so well with Dzintra. He crashed as soon as she left of course.
He played "pretend" with Dzintra today and it was adorable! She has a toy that is fake vegetables, a cutting board, and knife. Joey would cut the vegetables (through the velcro) and they would pretend they were eating it. He was sooo cute with her! Then, he picked up a cup and acted like he was drinking water, too. So adorable.
This weekend was nice. I don't really recall what we did . . . I'll blame it on the pregnancy. We were able to sleep in yesterday, though. I feel like taking a nap right now. Unfortunately, I've got to finish an assignment for one of my classes and then I'll really think about it afterwards.
