We went to the mall the other night and located in a central area is a play area for kids. It's actually pretty neat. It's like an interactive game. You can step on it to make things go and such. Well, we had been playing there for a few minutes and the kids were ready to move along; it just so happened that the game being played was a putt-putt game. Apparently, Keith didn't hear me saying that we were leaving and a minute or so later he caught up to us. He was a little red in the face with embarrassment. He just realized that here is this 28-year-old guy playing all alone with the kid game in the middle of the mall.

The other morning Clarissa woke up and Keith and I were still tired. We tried getting her to just relax with us in hopes that maybe we could rest a bit more before we started our day. As soon as Keith laid her in bed with us, she stood up, and just fell backwards. It was so funny! I'm just not giving it justice. Imagine in school those exercises they made you do to "trust" someone . . . to just let go. She thought she was hilarious.

Today we were driving to lunch and we were driving in Keith's truck. Joey was getting a little bored and started kicking the backseat. Keith told Joey to stop kicking the car and Joey replies, "it's not a car, Daddy." We just had to laugh. He sure told Keith.

Last night while eating, Keith tried giving Clarissa some sweet potatoes. This girl loves everything, but she just didn't want to try anything new yesterday. When Keith managed to get some in her mouth, she looked up at him, rolled her beautiful blue eyes, and spit out the food. I guess we're done with sweet potatoes.

When I picked up Joey from school Thursday he told me he had such a fun day. He proceeded to tell me he painted, colored, and made a big mess. Hmmm, what do you think that means?
