We had such a relaxing weekend! We really had no place to go, so we just spent most of our days indoors. We also cleaned A LOT! You know how it is, you get the "bug" to just clean! We took TWO truck loads to the transfer station of just stuff we decided to either throw away or leave at the swap shop. For those of you not familiar with the swap, it's our town's way of "sharing." People leave things that are still in good shape that others might want. We left lots of toys and kitchen stuff.
The only downfall to this weekend was finding out I have jury duty. That alone isn't a big deal, but somehow I have it in Amarillo. How is this even possible? I'm not sure how they choose jurors, but I thought it was either from having a license or voter registration. Both my driver's license and voter registration is in the state of Massachusetts. Not only that, but I had even registered in Lubbock while we lived there. Now, I know I'm probably overreacting, but I am a worrier. I am pretty sure that I can call Monday and get it straigtened, but I'm just nervous. Anyone else ever have this problem? How did it turn out for you? Please do not tell me you're reading this while sitting in jail for not showing up for jury duty.

I got called for jury duty in Lincoln after we moved. I was able to just call them and tell them I was no longer a resident of that county. I think they asked where I live now and that was it. I think they took me off the list, too. Don't worry, just call and you won't go to jail! :)
Miss. Clair Bear reminds me of a pic with abulita. She had on a yellow dress and a yellow headband, she had Margaret or Lupe on her lap reading also I think.
