Out with the old, in with the new!

We were able to get Keith a truck today! Well, I guess technically it was yesterday. For about 6 or so months Keith has really started to get an itch for a truck. He's been wanting one so much that lately he's been driving my car. (I haven't been too happy about that) So, yesterday we decided just to go looking. We had NO intention of actually purchasing one. We just wanted to see what was out there and to see if this is really what we should do. Should we get the truck? Should we keep Keith's car instead?

Keith got his grand prix after an unfortunate accident to his formula firebird. Most of you know that Keith LOVED his formula. It was one of those cars that was irreplaceable. The year before it was totaled we had a professional paint job completed along with every little ding or scratch taken out of the body. It was in excellent shape.

So, needless to say Keith was never really attached to his grand prix. Though, it was fully loaded - it was never the car he really wanted. He just bought it because he had to buy it. Our original plan was to (of course) keep his formula and another vehicle for Keith. We were already in the process of moving up to Massachusetts when we lost the formula. Anyway, here's the grand prix:

One of Keith's favorite features (and what sold him) was the H.U.D. (Heads up Display) This actually projects up onto the dashboard as you're driving. Exclusive to Pontiac.

And, now, introducing . . . .

The seats are made of the leather that's made to make saddles. THAT'S what sold Keith on this truck! It's a huge, manly, TEXAS truck. It's the King Ranch F-150 and GORGEOUS! Keith got it fully loaded and LOVES it. I'm so happy he was able to get it! Keith was never this excited to get his grand prix.

Our only problem is the fact that it's Ford. There's nothing wrong with Ford, but it sticks out from our other vehicles we have (Pontiac Aztek and Pontiac Trans Am).
