School's Out

I know, I know . . . TWO posts in one day? I just wanted to take a moment and brag about my little man. Today was his last day of school. It wasn't monumental or anything. I mean . . . he only has a week off school since he'll also be attending summer school, but I'm so proud of him. This was his first full year of school and he did fantastic. He's so brilliant and social. I have to let everyone know that I think his teachers are the best and so loving.

Joey is such a funny guy, too. Keith and I were thinking about some of the funny things that were sent home this year. For instance, during the letter A week they were supposed to color apples. Joey refused to color his apple and his quote on the back of the apple was "I don't like apples." So, we have a plain white apple with that saying. His first picture he colored this school year he was asked what he hoped to do in preschool. His answer was to "color a chicken." Really, I mean . . . where does he come up with this things?

Below are the pictures that both Joey and his best friend from school Elliott colored. I thought they were hilarious.
