Walking . . .FINALLY!

I think we can finally say that CJ is walking. She took her first steps at ten months, but just never wanted to take off on the whole "walking" thing. Crawling was so much easier. I'm not one to push the kids into doing something like that. I figure it'll happen when they're ready. However, after having her birthday I realized maybe she needed a little push. How can someone be walking for two months, but not walk all of the time? So, Thursday and Friday night we headed to the mall to let Clarissa push the stroller. She enjoys her push toys at home, but doesn't always get a chance to use them with Joey.

Saturday, Keith and I finally considered her "walking!" I guess she needed that little push. We were both just surprised that she wasn't walking already. Joey didn't take his first steps until 13 months and by that weekend was RUNNING. She's still a little clumsy on her feet, but she's getting it. I love the whole "Frankenstein" walk.
