Weekend Update

No, this isn't SNL . . . it's just a plain 'ol weekend update. Debbie was able to come up for the weekend and help celebrate the kids' birthdays. She arrived Friday evening and we had dinner at the Hard Rock Cafe in Boston. The kids LOVED the restaurant! It was so much fun and the staff was really awesome. They let the kids peak into the private room and see a band setting up for a party later that evening. Keith and I hadn't been to the new location and anyone on the fence about visiting it, should! The old location was hidden and small.

Saturday was packed full of fun. The kids had their birthday party that afternoon at the fire house. It was incredible and thank you to our town for letting us have our party there! I think the adults had just as much fun as the kids. We got a tour of the house and learned a little fire safety. I thought the firefighters were excellent hosts and really went above and beyond making us feel at home. Joey is still talking about how much fun he had. On a side note, I'd like to thank Matt for making the great t-shirts for the kids. Everyone was able to take home a t-shirt with their name!

That evening Debbie watched the kids while Keith and I went into the city to have a fabulous dinner. We ate at Erbaluce and it was DELICIOUS! I can't believe how much Keith and I ate. Our appetizers consisted of lobster, crab, caviar, and scallops. Our entrees were lamb and wild boar! For dessert we topped ourselves off with fine cheese and a chocolate truffle. Anyone looking for a romantic dinner, I would MOST DEFINITELY recommend this!

Sunday we enjoyed our time at church and played with all of the kids' new toys. Keith also set up the train table that Debbie got Joey for his birthday. That thing is a monster and very cool. CJ enjoys Joey going to school so she can also take advantage of it.

Monday we headed into Natick and walked around the mall a bit. The kids took their picture with Santa. I'm so excited that Joey likes Santa! I left the picture in Keith's truck, but I'll be sure to upload it so everyone can see it. Shortly after, we took Debbie to the airport. It was a short trip, but jam packed with fun! Thanks for visiting!
