First parade

Joey was absolutely thrilled to participate in his first parade as a cub scout.  The banner which was made for our den was not made correctly, and it lacked the pole for the kids to hold.  So, the parents ended up holding the banner while the kids walked in front of the banner.

 I know I've mentioned it before, but I really do love living in a small town.  Every year in fall we have a huge parade with the whole town involved.  It's pretty fantastic, and we love running into our friends around town. 

 Clarissa's hair really looks blonde in this picture.  Both she and Joey have natural highlights in their hair, but in the summer it really is evident.  Summer 2012 was spent mainly outdoors so her hair was really light.
