Get ready for a picture overload. In August of 2012, we were blessed enough to go on vacation to Maine. Ahhh. It was such a wonderful week. We spent most of it at the beach just being bums. It was paradise!
Day One:
At the pool at the condo:
I apparently took no pictures on day two (which kind of stinks) because that was the day we went antiquing after the beach. I'm a sucker for antiques.
The next day we were able to meet up with some friends that happened to be vacationing semi close to us. We went to the Maine Diner (which apparently is famous) and went to L.L. Bean.
Day Three:
Day Four started out a little cloudy so we opted to play in the pool for a bit before heading out to play some putt-putt golf (you know you're from Amarillo when you call it putt-putt) and do a maze. Afterwards, we headed back to the beach and ended the day back in the pool:
The next day was gorgeous so we spent the whole day at the beach (without the camera).
Our final day we headed to Kennebunkport, ME to look at the Bush, Sr. Compound. Please watch this video HERE to see a sweet video of Bush, Sr. This video actually took place last year (2013) around the same time we visited Maine, again.
After stalking the Bush's, we stopped over at the zoo (which had an attached amusement park) and spent the rest of the day before heading home. Ahhh, vacation . . .
