We were lucky enough to get to go see Mitt Romney speak a few days before the election. He was speaking in New Hampshire and jumped at the chance to see him. Unfortunately, he did lose the election but he seemed like a very genuine person. It was hectic with all of the people there, but both my kids were super excited to see him. Clarissa stayed up in front with me while Joey stayed in the back with Keith. (Isn't my husband a gentleman . . . he understands he's tall and doesn't need to be up front and allows others to see) We had several friends that were watching live on TV and saw us! Clarissa held her hand out to shake his hand, and he called her a sweetheart. :) Man oh man . . . it would have been one great story to say the POTUS had called my daughter a sweetheart.
